Taiyo Kimura is a conceptual artist using a broad range of mediums including installation, sculpture, video art and performance. He was born in Kamakura, Japan 1970 and is a graduate of Sokei Academy of Fine Art and Design, Tokyo in 1995. He is the recipient of travel grants from Pola Art Foundation Japan ,Gotoh Memorial Foundation Japan and Asian Cultural Council US.

He has produced official music video for Superchunk, NC, US and also designed window display for Maison Hermes Ginza, Tokyo.
