The Press Club of New Orleans will present Life Through the Lens, a photography exhibition showcasing the history and culture of the region, its people, and environment through the lens of journalism. Photography included in the exhibition will explore the connections between the city’s past and present, focusing on issues of community and culture, environment and place, equity, and resilience as they have been presented for the consumption of news audiences. 

David T. Baker is an award-winning writer and journalist based in New Orleans. He is a native of the city, and is an associate editor of The Louisiana Weekly newspaper, and is also chief content officer for Culturalyst, a digital infrastructure that connects artists with arts organizations and resources.

The Press Club of New Orleans is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the professional skills of people in the journalism industry through education, scholarships, networking, and professional development. Membership is composed of journalists, journalism educators, and public relations professionals.
