FAMILY DAY at ART HOUSE ON THE LEVEE
We invite New Orleans families, and all who would like to come, to visit the Art House on the Levee for a day of art-making and family fun. Free!

Art House on the Levee, in the historic Holy Cross neighborhood, faces the levees of the Mississippi River. Bob Tannen's new studio/residence and the site for his Prospect.2 collaborative exhibition Art By Committee, the Art House showcases mural-sized canvasses that cover the walls of the studio, with paints and brushes readily available for visitors to paint on the canvasses. Art By Committee is a communal art exhibit where artists, youth, friends and neighbors are invited to work on the murals with the spirit of broad appreciation and encouragement for the talents of others. As the murals are completed, they will be donated to community facilities. Free admission. Open Friday - Sunday, noon until sunset, other days by appointment. For more information call 504.247.8894.
